The Parade of Lights is an annual celebration of light which takes place in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Every year, a team of Dalhousie architecture students enters a float in the parade. This year, the concept
was to use a tensile structure to create “light sails” upon which light and abstract colour patterns were
projected.
My part in the project included designing and constructing the base, designing and implementing the
light and audio wiring, and involvement with the design and construction of the connection point between
the sails and the base.
